Any registered voter can request and track the status of an early/absentee ballot by accessing Vermont’s “My Voter Page”
You may also request an early/absentee ballot through a direct request to the Town Clerk via phone, email, regular mail, or in person during office hours. You can download or print a Vermont absentee ballot request form here (link:
https://outside.vermont.gov/dept/sos/Elections%20Division/voters/vtabsenteerequestgeneric.pdf ).
A single form may be used to make requests for absentee ballots for local, primary, and general elections during a single calendar year. Please note that a new request must be submitted every year.
All early voter absentee ballot requests must be submitted by 5 p.m. or by the close of the town clerk’s office on the day before the election.
All ballots must be returned to the town clerk’s office before the close of the office on the day before the election, or to the polling place before 7 p.m. on the day of the election, in order to be counted.
